FAQs

Q:

A:

Where are you located?

I am physically located in Milwaukee, WI, but because I work virtually, I can see patients anywhere in the State!

Q:

How does telepsychiatry work?

A:

I’ll send a link to my HIPAA secure virtual waiting room prior to your visit.  You’ll click on it at the time of the appointment, and we’ll visit over the computer. A smartphone will also work as long as there is a reliable internet connection. Studies show that it is just as effective as in-person care, and it’s even more convenient.

Q:

How do I schedule an appointment?

A:

Click on this Link and request an appointment. Next, complete the intake forms that will be emailed to your inbox. Intake forms need to be completed 72 hours prior to our first visit. Otherwise, the appointment will be canceled and you will need to reschedule.

For your safety, try and find a time and place where you feel your privacy is protected. Therefore, we do not recommend that you are around others during your virtual appointment or participating in activities that may distract you, such as driving.

Q:

Do you provide therapy/ counseling services?

A:

At this time, Mindora Mental Health & Wellness does NOT offer therapy or counseling services.

Q:

Do you accept insurance?

A:

Our practice is currently pending network status with Aetna, United, BCBS, Cigna, Optum, Common Ground, Tricare, Quartz Health and Multiplan. At this time, we do not accept any other insurances, EAPs, Medicaid, or Medicare.  We do provide a superbill for those who have other insurances and would like to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

For patients not in network with those providers, hour long new patient visits are $225 and follow ups are $125 which is billed to a credit card on file at the time of service.

Q:

What is your cancellation policy?

A:

Missed appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be billed a fee of $75.  Patients with three late cancellations or missed appointments may be discharged from the practice.
