Get back on track with Mindora Mental Health & Wellness
What is ADHD?
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopment disorders of childhood, and it can last into adulthood as well. Those who suffer from ADHD often have difficulties paying attention, completing tasks, and controlling impulsive behavior. ADHD can present in three ways: predominantly inattentive, predominantly hyperactive-impulsive, and combined presentation.
Treatment for ADHD typically involves medication, therapy, or a combination of both. At Mindora Mental Health & Wellness, we can prescribe medications like non-stimulants and stimulants when appropriate, which can help improve focus and reduce impulsivity.
QB-Check
ADHD ASSESSMENT
What is QB-Check?
QbCheck is an FDA-cleared, computer-based assessment tool that objectively measures core ADHD-related symptoms, including inattention, impulsivity, and activity level. It combines standardized attention tasks with motion tracking technology to generate measurable data that may assist in clinical decision-making. Qb-Check test may be completed virtually.
QbCheck is a supportive assessment tool and is not independently diagnostic. ADHD diagnosis is based on a comprehensive clinical evaluation conducted by a qualified clinician, including clinical history, rating scales, and assessment of functional impairment across settings.
Like all assessment tools, QbCheck has limitations. Results may include false positives (suggesting ADHD when it is not present) or false negatives (not detecting ADHD when it is present). Findings are interpreted within the broader clinical context and are never used in isolation to determine a diagnosis.
Optional Assessment
Participation in QbCheck is completely voluntary. Choosing not to complete QbCheck will not prevent diagnostic evaluation, treatment recommendations, or ongoing care.
